What does a vaccine have to do with Cancer? Vaccines are usually for viruses, aren't they?

Well, technically vaccines create an incentive for an immunoresponse... From what I am reading, these vaccines will create a response against a specific protein that is involved in the production of cancer cells.

The implications, as Nura said, are immense. If these vaccines work in humans, as they have in mice, we are looking at pretty much the flat out cure for cancer...

The Dr. who developed this vaccine may have good intentions but depending on who ends up manufactuing it,I think I would think twice about ANY vaccine.I mean c'mon with all the mercury, autism and other virally contaminated vaccines !!???
