Hi Maurice,

Thank you for your wonderful words and insight! I can already feel the wave coming and I'm riding it! ;) Hopefully...I won't fall off again but as I already have in the past I know you just got to get back up.I feel many many changes knocking at the door.

October 30 to early December 2009
It begins!

Much appreciation for this! Blessings

That's a great spirit Gypsy Moon. My daughter learned how to surf in Hawaii and she worked and worked to catch a wave until finally she did and it was something she will never forget!

Thanks for this thread, Maurice. I appreciate it. Also with Uranus transiting on my Pisces north node, I did have a wonderful dream recently about "riding a wave" and surfing, something I've longed to learn how to do. And in the dream I didn't hit my head on the surfboard or anything!! 8-)

So interesting in terms of all my life shifts lately. I married in August, to an old friend from h.s., and last week we purchased a lot of musical equipment (keyboard, synthesizers, guitar, mixer, etc.) as we're forming a band!!!! He and I were avid musicians back in the 70s, and I come from a family of musicians, but abandoned it all many years ago.

It feels so good to be expressing this part of myself again...a lot of reconnecting going on for me, and leaping forward in faith as well!

(this Venus in Aquarius LOVES experimenting with electronics and sound :D )

Sabian symbols for the Saturn/Pluto square. Astonishing.

Pluto at 1 degree Capricorn:

CAPRICORN 2
THREE STAINED-GLASS WINDOWS IN A GOTHIC CHURCH, ONE DAMAGED BY WAR

This pictures the need to stay strong under the barrage of bombardment. One of the three corners of unity, in this case the one of love, is damaged and separated by the aggressive nature of mankind. With the shatter of the 'window', there is often a loss of faith, hope and trust. Acceptance of love can lead to a healing on many levels. As Leonard Cohen says "there is a crack, a crack in everything. That's where the light gets in".

Careless aggression where love should be. Religious and philosophical differences sparking off problems. Seeking sanctuary.

Caution: Feeling disconnected from the situation, fearfulness. A feeling of being `under attack'. Fear and terrorism in all its forms.

Saturn at 1 degree Libra

LIBRA 2
THE LIGHT OF THE SIXTH RACE TRANSMUTED TO THE SEVENTH

This is a time of new beginnings with an implementation of a brand new order. Respect the value of what is waning, and take the best qualities with you. This Symbol shows people who are within reach of their own ultimate potential. Some aspects of society are being left behind for a higher, more evolved state. Ascension to a higher order is pictured here, but there is a need to remain still rooted in the reality of practicality, lest one loses one's way.

Transference of the best of the past into the present. Younger, more vital energies taking over from the older. Theosophy. Blavatsky's theories. Finding kindred spirits.

Caution: Losing touch with practical survival. Discrimination against the "lower classes".

Hi Tyra,

The exact square of Saturn and Pluto on Nov. 15th occurs at 1:42 degrees Libra and Capricorn respectively, so I think tradition dictates that the Sabian Symbol must be rounded off upward to 2 degrees of both signs. It would give a somewhat different reading. In "The Astrological Mandala," Dane Rudhyar's comments are unusually long for 2 degrees Libra but they start off, "The transmutation of the fruits of past experiences into the seed-realizations of the forever creative spirit." The Keynote is: "A repolarization of inner energies leading to a creative centralization of consciousness." This seems to dovetail nicely with Maurice's call for expanded creativity in his remarks on the year to come.

On the other hand, Rudhyar's reading of the Sabian Symbol for 2 degreees Capricorn is more sobering: "Three rose windows in a Gothic church, one damaged by war. The necessary realizattion by any individual making a violent use of collective power that it will lead to an inevitable destruction of some values ensuring group-integration". "Waste" rather than "creativity" is cited at the end as the opposite of group-integration, the waste squandered in "armaments and death".

Both Sabian degrees should probably be read in their entirety as Rudhyar goes into more detail. In any case, it seems dramatic times ride the wind.

with warmth,

Patrick

Sorry Patrick and Sat-PK, I only get to use the internet in short spurts, when my daughter allows me. She's tiny but a handful.

So me bad. I should have put the source from the beginning. It's taken from Lynda Hill's book "360 Degrees of Wisdom: Charting Your Destiny With the Sabian Oracle".

Patrick,

i have tremendous respect for Rudhyar and Marc Edmond Jones' take on the sabian symbols. And Lynda hill's book is equally brilliant, so i have no preference really. It's all good.

I find sabian symbols to be quite helpful in chart rectification.

Interestingly every one of those configurations that he points out will be aspecting my chart

using whole sign house system:

1. November 15th - that already passed. The Saturn in 1'41 Libra square Pluto in 1'42 Capricorn aspected my Neptune in 1'48 Sagittarius in 4th with transiting Saturn being in my 2nd and transiting Pluto being in my 5th. It was on that day that I took that mitochondria DNA test. I went to my mom's the day before and she confesseed to me that she believes that her maternal grandmother was Jewish since 1994 which was the year that I have her the birth certificate of her mother which showed her maternal grandmother's name being Jewish. I talked to our cousin,Trae for the first time since my maternal grandfather's funeral in 1998.

The next ones will be far more significant to me:

2. June 26, 2010 - Lunar Eclipse Grand Cross of the opposition of Moon in 4'46 Capricorn,Pluto and Mercury in 2'16 Cancer,Sun in 4'46 Cancer square the opposition of Saturn in 28'26 Virgo and Jupiter in 2'14 Aries,Uranus in 0'33 Aries
The Lunar Eclipse of the Moon-Pluto in Capricorn oppose Sun-Mercury in Cancer will be in my 5th (self expression, creativity, romance, children) and 11th houses (friendships, community groups) form a kite with my Sun in 5'20 Scorpio,Ixion in 5'25 Scorpio in 3rd trine Moon in 3'11 Pisces in 7th to form a kite which is a powerful, beneficial pattern. with my Sun-Ixion being in 3rd house and my Moon being in 7th, it's about communications and relationships. Moon-Pluto is in my 5th,and so connected to self expression, creativity romance, children. Sun-Mercury in Cancer is in my 11th,and so friendships, community groups is involved.

The Lunar Nodes will be squaring my retrograde Eris in 12'15 Aries in 8th, and so that will be about diversity matters. I think that it might be connected to my neuro-diversity advocacy. There might something controversial there.
Transiting Saturn will be conjuncting my Pluto in 2nd and Jupiter-Uranus in 8th will be opposing that. It seems to be about finances.
Transiting Jupiter will be conjuncting my Moon/Sedna midpoint in 2'38 Aries, and so it seems like it could be good for expansion of compassionate, spiritual feelings as well as relationships with spiritual women. It will also be squaring my Moon/Quaoar midpoint in 2'47 Capricorn. Expansion of feeling the need to be creative, spiritual. It can also be good for relating to women of that nature.

3. July 30, 2010 - The T-Square of retrograde Pluto in 3'16 Capricorn square the opposition of Moon in 0'09 Aries, retro Jupiter, retro Uranus in 0'20 Aries oppose Mars in 0'32 Libra,Saturn in 00'46 Libra will be aspecting my Pluto in 0'51 Libra in 2nd
Transiting retrograde Jupiter will be conjunct my Moon/Sedna midpoint in 2'38 Aries and square my Moon/Quaoar midpoint in 2'47 Capricorn
Mercury trine Pluto will be forming a Wedge with my Moon in 3'11 Pisces.
Transiting Mercury will be in my 1st (self) and transiting Pluto will be in my 5th (self expression, creativity, romance, and children).
Transiting Sun will be in my 12th trining my Jupiter in 8'17 Sagittarius in 4th it could be about compassion, domestic environment

4. Dec 14, 2010 - the stellium of retro Mercury in 4'48 Capricorn,Mars in 4'33 Capricorn,Stationary South Lunar Node in 2'49 Capricorn
That configuration will be in my 5th house of self expression, creativity, romance, children sextile my Sun,Ixion in 3rd and conjunct my Sun/Moon midpoint (relationship, marriage) in 4'16 Capricorn and Moon/Ixion midpoint in 4'18 Capricorn. Transiting Stationary South Lunar Node in 2'49 Capricorn will be conjuncting my Moon/Quaoar midpoint in 2'47 Capricorn and square my Moon/Sedna midpoint in 2'38 Aries. It will be about compassion, spiritual, creativity involving feelings, women.
Transiting Jupiter in 24'36 Pisces,Moon in 26'24 Pisces,Uranus in 26'41 Pisces will be in my 7th house of relationships, partnerships in opposition to my Juno (committed relationships) in 26'16 Virgo in 1st house conjuncted by transiting Virgo in 25'15 Virgo. That looks like a strong relationship theme. My Juno Return is few days after that.
Transiting Saturn in 15'36 Libra will be conjuncting my Uranus in 15'17 Libra in 2nd, and so looks like security, self worth, finances will be involved.

I am looking forward to the next configurations!

Bring them on!!!!

So many things have happened so far, and the last week was truly one of the most intense weeks lately, since August I think. yesterday in Israel, in less then 2 hours 3 people were murdered in 3 different places! not to mention a political chaos between parties, Children being abused and murdered, and the usual provocation between Israel and the Palestinians - missiles are being shot toward Israel again, so I guess war bells are on the background with Mars rx on Israel's natal Pluto. of course I didn't even start to mention what is happening in the rest of the world, including bombs on airplanes, earthquake, crazy weather and very cold winter etc.
All this is between the two eclipses and with Mercury and Mars rx + Pluto\Saturn are approaching for another climax again in 4 deg Cap\Libra.

On Jan 15 we have the Sun eclipse conj Venus\NN + Merc going back to direct and Saturn moving rx...

More than 150 flights from Germany's largest airport, Frankfurt, have been cancelled as snowfall continues.
