The fact that the phenomenon of evolution exists implies that no living being has reached complete consciousness. Existence is supported by universall/natural laws, and only in assimilating these laws can we live in health, productivity, and satisfaction - materially, psychologically and spiritually, these laws are Truth. Everyone is subject to these universal laws, but most people are not aware of it; instead they are driven by internal hunger mechanically following external expectations.


It is important to differentiate between natural/universal laws and man-made laws. Man-made laws are the foundations of societies and represent relative human understanding of what life is about, as opposed to the univeral/natural laws which represent Truth operating with or without human understanding. Man-made laws are legitimate as long as they are not taken as absolute and as long as they are modified as evolution proceeds. The intent of man-made laws is to progressively fuse with universal/natural laws.

A primary universal law implies that each living being has to become personally conscious of Truth, instead of simply going through the motions. Hostility, problems, and challenges urge each person to leave the womb of innocence and make an effort to develop consciousness. If a being remains innocent, it is either invaded by parasites or devoured by predators. In a state of innocence one cannot survive long without protection, just as a baby cannot survive without the care of a parent. As innocence (naivete) decreases, consciousness increases.
People from all places and times try to find the Truth. Every cookbook, every argument with a parent, every session with the psychologist, every bit of scientific research, every war, and every religion is trying to figure out what Truth is, how we should live, what is right, what works. Knowing complete Truth is knowing Life, and no one on earth knows the totality of it. Some know more, some fail continuously at getting it, most think they have figured it all out, but basically, everyone is in the same school - the evolutionary journey of the soul - and the main teacher is Life.

The soul is a life force inside every being that exists beyond the limitations of time and space. From the soul originates the deep need to know more of the Truth and to completely harmonize with Life. The process of the soul's evolution extends over numerous lifetimes. The soul incarnates into a specific time and space to work on its evolution and to learn more about life, each time from a different angle. In each incarnation it adopts an Ego, an identity, and through this identity it adapts to the current environment. In each incarnation there are conditions, both stressful and supportive, that promote evolution. Nothing in life is random, every single experience and circumstance serves the soul's purpose of evolution.

Evolutionary Astrology consists of using an astrological birth-chart to identify the individual's situation in the development of consciousness. Through it, it is possible to trace what the soul carries from past lives, and accordingly, the evolutionary lessons for this life.
