This course is designed to provide extensive knowledge for identifying the nature of a person's consciousness and its inherent evolutionary challenges through the birth chart. It is a very insightful and comprehensive course.

The material is based on Maurice's new research in astrology, using the archetype of Neptune and Pisces as the root principle in the chart analysis. Maurice's perspective is inspired by the evolutionary paradigms originally developed by Jeffrey Wolf Green. Upon fulfilling all course's requirements, participants receive a Certificate of Professional Practice in Astrology.

 The program includes approximately 280 hours of study including theory and practice, and is composed of 7 week-long segments, 7 workshops, and 5 practicum over the space of two years. The course takes place in different locations around the world depending on demand - part by correspondence, part on location. 'On location' Segments take place in Boulder, Colorado, Sedona, Arizona, and the Big Island in Hawaii. Not all segments must be attended on location, but it is always an advantage to do so when possible.

Segment 1: Levels of Evolution of the Soul and Everything about the Nodal Axis

Definition and identification of the progressive stages of the soul's evolution. Identifying how the same chart can express itself differently through the various evolutionary stages. Understanding these dynamics is absolutely essential for an accurate chart analysis and counseling.

The Nodal Axis of the Moon: transcendence of duality. The Nodal Axis portrays very graphically in the birth chart what the core emotional and evolutionary needs of the person are. It is a relatively simple equation that is incomparable in precision and depth. In the course of these 6 days we begin with the influence of Transits using life events of participants to understand the technicalities as well as the karmic implications of the different circumstances in one's life. We learn about the large planetary cycles on a collective level, as well as their application to the personal chart.

The following chapter is dedicated to the study of Solar Arc Directions, which is one of the most powerful predictive techniques existing! The study allows on to identify precise future occurrences in the life of a person. The focus is on refining the skills to identify significant themes and life-changing events in one's life.

Secondary Progressions Another powerful tool to identify ongoing cycles of evolution in the person's life and assess what future cycles are about. We will compare between the different systems: Transit, Solar Arc, and Secondary Pogressions to see how they complement one another to provide a very accurate understanding of developmental processes in the present and future of a person or the greater collective.

Segment 7: Chart Analysis and Counseling skills - 6 days of Practice
On location Segment: Spring 2012, Sedona, AZ

 The focus of this segment is to develop a sharper eye upon analyzing birth charts. It takes one's practice to the next level by developing the capacity to identify core dynamics without excessive preparation before meeting a client. Many charts are analyzed with the group, by the group, and with guests who have their charts analyzed in real time within the framework of the segment.
